Deception

Holy indignation!

Listen my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, cruising the channels to hear the Word of God on the television -- which at times comes out as a hell-a-vision, and what do I see on the Christian station - TBN; nothing less than an eye-popper, heart-dropper  -- an advertisement for Cannabis products. I like-na had lost my wig - the devil is a liar. And, they even had the audacity to use the phraseology "to chill grandma out." What the? What the?

Lord have mercy, I did. I did get mad. A holy indignation... and I found the TBN website, again - to try to Wake them Up! Wake Up! God has given us sweet Holy Spirit to lead and guide us in ALL Truth. We have the holy Word of God. If Grandma needs chilling out -- put on the Word of God, or praise and worship music, for the Word says, "He will keep us in perfect peace when our minds are stayed on Him." This is free... does not cost me anything but surrendering moments of time and looking to the hills where our help comes from. Our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Read Psalm 121 or pull it up on the internet and listen to this beautiful Psalm.

I must admit, I did not look or listen to the entire program promoting these CBD products, I am a Substance Abuse Specialist/Counselor and that's why my wig almost flew off, besides being sanctified, Holy Ghost-filled and fire-baptized. The deceived young Brothers said these pills or the product will give you health benefits and a good night's sleep. What? What? What the? Listen, God's Word is life and health to all of our flesh and bones (Proverbs 4) and Jesus paid it all, He declared,"It is finished." (John 19:30) Come on Church!

When Jesus rose from the dead with All power in His hands, He gave His Church, the Believers, those who receive Him as Savior and Lord -- He gave us power over All the power of the enemy. (Luke 10;19) The enemy identifies as sin, sickness, disease, hell-a-lying, deception, tricky (wiles of the devil) - any and everything NOT like God, NOT like the Kingdom of God, NOT like Jesus and NOT like sweet Holy Spirit. As a matter of fact, Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life." Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus... this  is Good News!!!!

For those who do not know or might have forgotten, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us that ALL Scripture is God-breathed and Useful for Teaching... that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. Now, we can believe that we can prosper and be in health as our soul prospers, 3 John 2, Amen. And, Proverbs 3:24 and have sweet sleep as we rest in our awesome God and Father. Hallelujah!

Saints, listen, we are to live supernatural lives in and through Jesus Christ our Lord, let's not follow the rudiments and philosophies of this world. We are in this world, but we are not of this world. When we received Christ we became another type of being - a supernatural human being. Yes, we eat, sleep, pray and experience trials and tribulations -- however, we experience these things differently from the man, woman, boy or girl who does not have sweet Holy Spirit living on the inside. Wake Up! Let's not get caught in the snare of deception. The Word tells us that we are not ignorant of the devil's devices.  Know that we are Ambassadors of Christ, we are representing our Lord in this fallen world, this land that has been shrouded in darkness. We are the light and the salt to tell of the goodness of God and invite dying men, women, boys and girls to receive Life and His name is Jesus.

Let us continue to Watch and Pray, to Live and Give, to Teach and Preach, to Heal and Reveal the Truth, all for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Blessings to the hearers and the doers of His most Holy Word.

Christian Music

Posted on April 6, 2020 at 3:50 PM Comments comments (16)

This topic is one that poses controversy, that one can choose offense to and one that is of utmost important to living victoriously in Jesus Christ our Lord. We know music is powerful, it is called a universal language. Music can change one's heart, mind, mood and emotions in several degrees of intensity and passion. Music seeps down in the spirit and soul --- it has the power to be glorious, to present glorious and lead to a glorious experience; and, it has the power to take one down a dark, deadly path. Whooo. Christian Music, now if we consider the lead handle being Christian... which has the root word Christ in it. And, Christ meaning the anointed One, the Messiah, all leads to Jesus. Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. Amen. Christian music ought to lead you to Jesus. We want to be clear on that. Christian music...now, we find there are all kinds of styles, tunes, tempos and lyrics.

Although it is not only lyrics, it is mainly the lyrics. However, in instrumentals with careful, prayerful observation...and there are some that are obvious -- you can tell if it is filled with light, love or joy versus darkness, distruction and dispair. And, let us go back to lyrics for we can start cleanly be looking at the lyrics, seeing the words, what is the message that the song is relaying.

Some might call this meddling. And, say what I listen to is my own business. Music is just music. So why is this even a topic? It is a topic for the believer to live victoriously in Christ. To prosper and be in health as our soul prospers. For there is a war going on within us, Believers, the spirit against the flesh. When we received Christ as Lord and Saviour...and some says I receive Him as Savior not as Lord, believe me it does not work like that ...Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour of our souls. Thank God for that. Now, when we receive Jesus and sweet Holy Spirit, they graciously take abode and still will not force us to do anything. We can have strong unctions, hear the voice of God, and receive direction ---but, still, we choose. Will I yield and follow the path of righteousness; or do I do what I want to do... my will, not God's will. We have the choice.

What we feed ourselves either strengthens or weakens the flesh. God's Word is the Bread of Heaven for our soul to be led and strengthened by the Spirit, in our spirit. Now, I have seen and/or experienced how God can use anything or anybody to get a message to us; yet, when we pray without ceasing, things do not have to be so dramatic. Well, that is the opinion of this writer. I do see God is quite dramatic in His dealings with mankind and with those He has called and is calling to follow Him. So what am I saying? The book of Psalms, according to my studies is a songbook; there are endless songs found in this book; and,  it is not only limited to Psalms. Our God, our Father loves music...music is in the air and music is everywhere. Before Satan exposed himself, he was Lucifer, the star of the morning, filled with beautiful instruments, decked in jewels and orchestrated worshipful music in the heavens unto our awesome God and Father, unto the Godhead. Then, Lucifer got it twisted, he wanted the praise, the songs for himself, toward himself...and derobed as Satan.

Wow. I am getting into this deeper than I planned to go. Let me get to the point...the music and the spirit of the music ought to line up with the Word of God and exalt the Lord! We got a lot of feel good music and alot of the so-called Christian music...is like the blues, and causes depression. We had a sister in our church and thank God she shared it with us; it was a "Christian" song that she played over and over again -- which was filled with pain and misery and crying and begging God. Lord have mercy. That sister started having suicidal thoughts. That is why it is important that Christian music is Christian. And, I will end right here.

God's Will

Posted on April 6, 2020 at 2:50 PM Comments comments (6)

We are so blessed to have the Word of God in our hands. At this time, we have the Word of God, the Holy Bible in every shape, form and fashion -- several versions, printed in diverse ways, large print, study guides, commentaries and technology has afforded another plethora of access. We have God's Word animated, audible, and accessible through cyber, internet and online capacities. There is no reason God's people can give for not knowing God's Will. Simply stated, God's will is His Word.

Now, this article will point out a few major proponents of His will: salvation, kingdom living and personal action. This is just a tip, a few nuggets...a start, and hopefully, an enticement. And, as we get into the Word for ourself....more and more; more and more - Hallelujah! It is so thrilling and awesome where the Word and Holy Spirit will take us in our experiences, our engagements and our understanding of our Father's will and plan. Hallelujah!

First, let's consider.. and, I am sharing some context too:

2 Peter 3:8-10 King James Version (KJV)

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

From this passage, we can see it is not God's will that any should perish. Now, will many perish? Emphatically, yes. Why? Because God does not create robots...the beings God created - us, have freewill. We can choose whether to connect with the Father and receive His gift of salvation. Hallelujah! We can see when Moses laid out the principles of Blessings and Cursings in Deuteronomy 8 - we can choose as they, the children of the Israelites were given opportunity to choose. We can choose a life of Life or a life of Death. Blessed the Lord, the is ultimate Love. God is love.

When it comes to Kingdom Living, what is God's will concerning us? This we can find in the model prayer; that has been the most recited prayer since it was penned in Christiandom. And, it is a model, an outline, if you will - that is the reply Jesus gave to His disciples when He received the request to, Lord, teach us to pray. Now in Matthew and in Luke you will find, Your kingdom come, Your will be down on earth as it is in heaven. Did you notice, that what the heavens allowed, or operated, that is what we are to pray for our allowance and operation. That is the kingdom living, God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Saints, there is no sickness in heaven, the praise of God fills the heaven and that is why it is so important for the praise of the Lord to continually be in our mouth. Hallelujah! That is why John wrote by the unction of Holy Spirit, I would that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. Hallelujah! We can live Kingdom living on earth. Ain't that good news. That is God's will and that is how it will be, when it is all said and done. For there shall be a new heaven, a new earth and a new Jerusalem. Hallelujah!

And, because this topic is so wide and broad -- and it is so awesome, let's take a quick look at the third proponent of this article and -- then, we can get in His precious Word and His Word get into us, thank You Holy Spirit. That is, an individual action that we can employ which exudes power, blesses His majesty and keeps us in victory. Okay, without further adieu, give thanks unto the Lord, Hallelujah. Here is the scripture: 1st Thessalonians 5 (and, this passage is so rich with His will, that we will take a chunk)

16 Rejoice evermore.

17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

19 Quench not the Spirit.

20 Despise not prophesyings.

21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

We can see, verse 18 is highlighted for it specifically states "this is the will of God...concerning you." That means us. We want to stay in an attitude of gratitude, stay in a poise of praise toward our wonderful Father and awesome God. Hallelujah! Thank You Lord!!! Now, the focus is on thanks giving, I heard it said, well we can thank God in every thing; but not for everything! What? That is a trick of the devil. For in Ephesians, also in Chapter 5, we find to thank God for all things in verse 20: "...giving thanks at all times for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to the God..." Hallelujah! There is so much power and victory in this that it will cause us to leap and dance before the Lord as strongholds are torn down and destroyed. Thank You Jesus. When I discovered this, it was by hindsight. Thank God after a night of thanksgiving to the Lord, I reaped so many awesome rewards for years and was enlightened to the fact...that God loves thankfulness, a grateful heart. Hallelujah! For that is the will of God concerning me... concerning us.

Let us be about our Father's business and be found in His will. His will is loving, kind and just. His will is exciting, invigorating and fulfilling. His will is infinte in learning, growing and glowing. God's kingdom come, God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen!
